Geek Knight Beta — Static HTML
The original. Bare-bones static HTML with a handful of pages — Videos, Paperbacks, Community, Inside Geek. Tagline: "WE ARE GEEK." It was a start.
The WordPress Era
GeekKnight grew into a full multi-author site on WordPress. Gaming, Entertainment, Reviews, Podcasts, and Forums. The GK shield logo appeared, and so did the tagline "It’s All Fun & Games" — which never left. Social links still included MySpace.
The Dark Ages
The domain went dormant and redirected to rolnrock.com for several years. Sometimes you need a break.
Built From Scratch — v3
Back to owning it. Node.js + SQLite, self-hosted on a Mac Mini M2, behind Cloudflare Tunnel. No ads, no tracking, no WordPress. The tagline came back with it.
Back to WordPress
Migrated off the self-hosted Node.js stack and back onto WordPress. Same look, same content, easier to maintain.
