Steam Sale Has Begun! Joe’s Top Picks

Summer Sale

So finally The Rock has comeback…wait no. Finally the Summer Sale has come back to Steam!

There is a bunch of decent titles on sale, and I wanted to list some of my own recommendations.

1: Darkest Dungeon

This Lovecraftian dungeon crawler is one of the best games to come out in the last few years, it’s got an indepth story and art style that add to the grim atmosphere in the game. You take small bands of heroes into the local ruins and other locations and quest for glory, gold, and other treasures all while attempting to reclaim your ancestral lands from the otherworldly horrors that now lurk there. It’s 40% off during the sale.

2: Fallout 4

If you don’t yet have Fallout 4 now is your chance to pick it up for 50% off, it’s a great game and has more DLC in the pipeline to come out. It’s definitely worth picking up.

3: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, or an Assassin’s Creed fan, this game is worth picking up, it’s a very fun action RPG and has a unique storyline, also the Nemesis system for monsters that kill you is very innovative and I hope more games integrate similar systems to them. And at 75% off, its a steal.

4: Pillars of Eternity

This game is a very indepth RPG, in the same style as the Baldur’s Gate series, it’s 60% off and well worth snagging at that price.

5: Battlefleet Gothic: Armada

Fan of Warhammer 40k? Then this RTS is worth getting, its based on the old Battlefleet Gothic tabletop game. It’s absolutely beautiful looking, and the different factions are fun to play, with Space Marines just being released and Tau slated to release next. The story is extremely in-depth and any lore fanatics of Warhammer will enjoy playing through The Gothic War.

I would include Skyrim on the list, but with the Special Remastered Edition coming out this October, I would recommend waiting to get that rather than one during the summer.
