Injustice 2 : Confirmed for 2017

Earlier this week, it was teased that there was going to be a sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, but we finally have a confirmation and a trailer. Injustice 2 will be set to release sometime in 2017 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. NetherRealm studios stated that they are looking to add new characters to the already existing roster, and add a new gear system allowing players to build their own version of Superman, their Batman, and ultimately their own Injustice Universe.

The Gear System will use an RPGish mechanics to reward you with loot drops when you play. Each loot drop will earn character specific piece gear to outfit and power up your roster. Thus changing not only the look of each character as you gear up/level up your characters, but will ensure that your versions of characters will play much more differently than your friend’s versions of the same character; thus giving the game more longevity in a more creative way than the normal fighting game trope of adding other characters as time goes on to spice the game up.

There is no news on the metaplot of the game yet all we know its Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Supergirl, and the Flash all fighting in a dark area, Check it out and tell us what you think?
