Battlefield 5 to be Announced Friday May 6, 2016.

Battlefield 5
Dice is all set to premiere Battlefield 5 this week at a special “World Premiere” Event this Friday, May 6 2016.  Battlefield 5 will be unveiled for the first time at the event, and then shown to the world in a global livestream starting at 1 pm PST / 4 pm EST.

As of late, Battlefield 5 rumors have been spreading like wildfire; including the biggest rumor, that Dice is done with modern or future settings and are taking us back to World War I,  a setting previously unexplored by the series.  If true, this will be a big departure from the previous games, especially in gameplay.  No Full Auto people, how will you survive.
All kidding aside, I’m quite looking forward to a Battlefield game set in the early 1900s,  should be a good change of pace from what we’ve come to expect from our first person shooters of today.

All this is happening directly on the Hills of The Call of Duty: Infinite War Trailer release,  that saw Dice Video & Media Editor Roland Smedberg, give his 2 cents on Twitter stating the New COD Trailer was quaint, and how he loved the cute 2010 graphics & their grade school editing.  If that’s not a call out from Dice, I don’t know what is.

Right now, we are stating to hear rumors the new Battlefield game will release during the Holiday season this year.  Which isn’t a big surprise, if it’s coming out this year, expect to see it release around Thanksgiving, but we should know more Friday.
